Public Hearings

The Town of St. Pauls Board of Adjustment and the Town Board will meet on April 29, 2024, at 7PM in the town conference room located at 210 W. Blue Street. 536 N. Chapel St. is requesting a variance to reduce the dimensional set back requirements for a new double wide mobile home.

 

The Town of St. Pauls Planning Board will be meet at 6PM and the Town Board meeting at 7PM on April 29, 2024, located at 210 W. Blue St. in the town conference room will be held to consider amending the zoning ordinance and stormwater ordinance.

 

Anyone interested in speaking is encouraged to attend the meeting at 7PM.

**NOTICE: Bid Opening has been changed to May 2, 2024 at 2pm**

Sealed bids for the project entitled Elizabeth Street & Johnson Street Storm Drainage Improvements will be received by the Town of St. Pauls until 2:00 p.m. on May 2, 2024 in the St. Pauls Town Hall, 210 West Blue Street, St. Pauls, NC. At said place and time, all Bids that have been duly received, will be publicly opened and read aloud. The bidder shall show evidence of the appropriate contractor’s license by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the bid is delivered.

*OPEN* WASTE TREATMENT PLANT RELOCATION BIDS

**NOTICE: Bid Opening has been changed to May 2, 2024 at 2pm**

Sealed bids for the Wastewater Treatment Plant Relocation Project will be received at St. Pauls Town Hall, 210 West Blue Street, St. Pauls, NC on May 2, 2024 at 2:00 p.m., then be publicly opened and read aloud. The bidder shall show evidence of appropriate contractor’s license by clearly displaying his or her current license number on the outside of the sealed envelope in which the bid is delivered.

*OPEN* Request for Engineering Qualifications

The Town of St. Pauls is accepting statements of qualifications from qualified firms and individuals to provide engineering services for a project to include a new elevated water tank and water supply well. Interested engineering firms should submit three copies of a "Qualifications Package" which should include an introductory copy cover letter, and any related information than the respondent feels appropriate. Complete proposal packets should be submitted to: Town Administrator Stephanie Dollinger c/o Water Tank Project: Town of St. Pauls, PO Box 364, St. Pauls, NC, 28384, or hand delivered to 210 West Blue Street, St. Pauls, NC 28384.

 

Submittals are due no later than 2:00pm on May 20, 2024.

Police Department Hiring

The St. Pauls Police Department is looking to hire part-time dispatchers and full-time police officers. 

Individuals hired as part-time dispatchers will be required to attend a week long certification class and will be utilized to fill shift vacancies when a full-time dispatcher is off. 

Applicants applying for the full-time police officer position(s) must have completed the BLET program and pass a background check and physical and psychological examinations.

St. Pauls Police Department offers one of the top salary and benefit packages in the area as well as incentive pay for acquiring certain specific training. 

Any individual interested in applying for either position can pick up an application at St. Pauls Police Department.
