Town of St. Pauls Business Opportunities

Commercial Properties

The Town of St. Pauls wants to help make your business a success.

To this end, we make it as easy as possible to open and run a business in our town. Usually you can find all the information you need to begin your business in one location, our Town Municipal Building. Our helpful staff will assist you with your required business licenses, your water and sewer hookups, your business inspection permits, your fire inspections and any other items which may be required prior to opening your doors.

Generally speaking, it only takes a few days to have your business opening and thriving. You can call ahead and we'll try to have everything you need waiting on your arrival. Our ordinances explain what types of businesses may locate where, but if you aren't sure, just call us. We can assist you in finding the right area for your type of business. There are a number of excellent locations in our downtown area currently available for lease or purchase.

We will gladly put you in touch with the owners or landlords of those currently available. We'll be glad to eMail a list of currently available properties. Just request a list using the Contact form on this site.

Location & Access

St. Pauls, NC sits in the middle of several major highways and of course right on I-95. With two exits, Exit 31 & Exit 33 into town, there is no reason to miss us!

You will also note on the map at the left that we are at the intersection of US 301 and NC 20. These are both major routes which connect you to several other main routes to many destinations both East & West. The beaches are easily accessible from 20 East to NC 87 East. It's a 90 minute drive to Wilmington, NC. On the way there you'll pass some great sites to see and things to do. Bladen County has a fabulous Wine Vineyard just off of NC 87. Visit Lu Mil Vineyards and taste some great local muscadine and scuppernong wines! And if you've never tried 'em in a ballpark near you, then be sure to drop into the Houston's Peanuts store in Dublin, NC for a taste of greatness!

If you choose to travel to Myrtle Beach, it's easy to just follow I-95 South until you see the signs! And again, it's just a 90 minute trip.

Go West on 20 and you'll run into some of the most recognizable names in Golf. Pinehurst and Southern Pines. Follow 20 West until you reach NC 211 and follow it right into Golf Heaven. And some of the BEST thoroughbred horse farms in the country. Steeplechase is big here!

We have included the map below to give you an idea of how centrally we are located to so many major Interstates and highways. I-40 stretches from Wilmington, NC to the coast of California. I-95 stretches from Maine to Miami. I-20, I-85, the new I-74 and others will connect you to major cities throughout the south including Charlotte, Atlanta, Memphis and beyond. If you are planning a visit, considering us for your business or new residence, then you'll love the fact that you can get to just about anywhere you want quickly and easily!
