The Town of St. Pauls War Memorial will be receiving a much needed facelift very shortly.  With the support of businesses and individuals from around the town and across the region, the War Memorial will once again be sparkling and new with a few new added updates just for good measure.  The main goals of the refurbishment are to correct minor problems before they become too costly to repair, to replace damaged brickwork, stonework and repair the cracks in the concrete.  The grounds will also be receiving fresh sod, new flower gardens and eventually, new shrubbery.  The posts surrounding the grounds will get a cleaning and fresh coat of paint as well as new chain to replace the broken and missing chain.  The areas under the trees will receive a nice layering of mulch.  The fountain will get a makeover too.  Cleaning and updating as well as fixing problems with the lighting and pumps should give it a new, fresh appeal.

Our local FFA, ROTC, Chamber of Commerce and individual citizens will be helping us put all of this together.  It will be a community effort and will make a huge difference in the appearance of one of the prettiest spots in town!

If YOU would like to help, please call Alan Womack at Universal Computer Services at (910) 865-5806.  Everyone is welcome to join in!

4th of July Fireworks Display!

The Town of St. Pauls 4th of July Fireworks Display was absolutely fantastic this year!

With a HUGE crowd gathered well in advance of the festivities, once the show began the "oohs" and "ahhs" were almost as loud as the fireworks going off overhead. The St. Pauls Fire Department outdid themselves as usual and provided all of us with an awesome display and patriotic time! Red White & Blue was everywhere too!
