Where the people are caring, but are also independent. They work hard and they come home to family and friends. And in a community, it is very important that there is strong support of education & functions that encourage children's development. The St. Pauls community has long been a strong supporter of education. The town has three outstanding schools, which have a history of producing students who have gone on to achieve state, national, and international distinction. St. Pauls demonstrates its support of educational excellence in a variety of ways with perhaps the chief demonstration beings its creation and continuance of a number of privately funded scholarships. "The Little Town with the Big Heart" offers more scholarship dollars than any town in the area, many of which are much larger. St. Pauls offers the Scouting experience for boys and girls of all ages. Generations of boys and girls from St. Pauls have joined the uniformed ranks of Scouts. Scouting is and has been an important thread in the fabric of life in communities across the nation, and so it is here in St. Pauls.
